ADORE Little Children Botswana(ADORE)is a  program of 'ADORE Growth Foundation' in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, AFRICA. (see our Facebook page or click this link  www.adoreglobalmimstries.weebly.com . The organisation was founded by Paula Wyner, an Australian Missionary with a passion to contribute to the development of communities by meeting the needs of the underprivileged children especially women and to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. She works closely with  Co- Founder and Botswana national Margaret Setlhare-Garvin who is passionate about helping her homeland.   ADORE works closely with local and community partners to ensure that the needs of the children are met with greatest benefit and efficiency. ADORE is a Centre where orphans and vulnerable children gather in  a safe and conducive environment to receive daily needs including prayers, hugs, food, clothing, medical attention, and education.

Why Botswana?

The children, being the most vulnerable are in desperate need to be able to live safely. In Botswana HIV & Aids is the third highest HIV prevalence in the world.  In 2005 Botswana has demonstrated a strong national commitment in responding to its HIV and AIDS epidemic and has become an exemplar for many in sub-Saharan Africa. It was the first country in the region to provide universal free antiretroviral treatment to people living with HIV, paving a path for many other countries in the region to follow. Botswana is a middle-income country which faces a huge challenge in sustaining its impressive HIV response as donors increasingly focus on low income countries. Many donors have reduced or withdrawn their funding in recent years.
